In the app
- Open SkiSquad and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account, and confirm.
Your account and its data are deleted straight away.
Without the app
If you no longer have the app, email skisquad@jambrek.com from the email address you signed in to SkiSquad with, and ask for your account to be deleted. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email address, tell us the name you used in SkiSquad and the squads you were in. We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account, your name and your sign-in (at Firebase, which SkiSquad uses for signing in).
- Every ski day you recorded: its track, runs, lifts and stats.
- Your live position, your meet pins and your place in every squad.
- The codes that send notifications to your phones.
- The information the app sent about how it was working.
A squad you own passes to the member who joined it first, or is deleted if you were its only member. Your squad mates keep their own ski days.
What is kept
Nothing, except in backups. The server keeps a backup of its database every day, for 14 days on the server and 30 days in separate storage, so your data is gone from every backup within 30 days of the deletion.
Deleting only some of it
To delete one ski day and keep your account, open the day in the app and choose “Delete this day”. The privacy page explains what SkiSquad records and how long it keeps it.
